The Mechanical discipline DataGroup System component catalog also contains equipment specific properties. They appear in respective schemas named with the equipment function, such as AirDistribution, AirHandling or with equipment names, such as VAV, FPU, Pumps etc. Each property carries the default values set in the Data Group Catalog and manipulated during placement or modification to associate property to the instance. These properties are significant for construction operations such as scheduling.
